Looks like a few of the jobs I planned this weekend might not get done after all.
Doncha hate it when the wheels fall off????Well whatevs. It's the last weekend of official summer, and rather than focus on what I didn't get done (the second coat of paint in the Girl's room, the dishes, the query letters) I'm going to focus on what I did get done (the primer, the the first coat of paint, the ceiling, the doors, and...well that's about it really.)
Screw this. I'm going to the beach. Have a good one everybody!

so jealous, I haven't made it to the beach, however I made it to my Grandma's trailer park for a swim does that count????
hey- that sounds like a lot!! And too many paint fumes and... well... the pool boy starts looking good!

Painting a room is easy. Tape over all the windows and the floor; open the can of paint and sit it on top of five M-80's taped together; light them and close the door. Walla! Clean up the papers and let dry. Painting done in less than an hour (including taping and preparations.)

hey I bought the paint for the lounge a week ago and that's all i have got done!
Well, I didn't get to the beach. I did go for a nice walk along a river and look at some ducks. That's gotta count for something?
