Fixing up the place!

I figure with all the rearranging and cleaning up and heavy lifting I've been doing at the Old Homestead, I might like to change things on the Old Blog.  Change is good, right?

So much of what I look at is like this: dirty, messy, ugly.  Let's face it, the former burn pile site ain't pretty.  Neither are my fishbelly-white legs.  (They glow in the dark and the light!)

I'm still making a few changes, which is tricky because after more than four years of blogging I still struggle to operate this newfangled "computer" thing.  I don't give up easily though.  I keep at it, slowly, just like flinging scrap metal into a truck box.

Suggestions for this virtual imaginary interior desecrating project?

I like the new colour. Are you keeping it or just trying it on for size??
Still more at the ol homestead? You are really working yer butt off. Soon the kidlets will out of school and help too. Maybe that will leave more fun time for you...

You'd think I'd be a couple lbs lighter with all the working off of my butt. Ha.

I can see an end to it but there's still a pile of work. Yes, the kids will be helping! Darn right!!!

Dad thinks I'll have nothing to do when the place is all cleaned up but y'see there are these two horses...

Yeah, I say I've been working my butt off yet I still have a butt. Hmmm.

At first I though I was on the wrong site, drowning in a sea of raspberry-pink.

But then the horses and the tires reassured me. And I, immediately recognized the pug. Can't say the same about you, I had not seen you in quite that profile.

Lucky you, never before blinded by my neon white legs.

Farmer tan?

Hey Paul,

Remember to give Heidi the prezzie when you see her, please. TY.

Phyllis, don't worry, I haven't forgotten.

No Heidi, I'm rarely dazzled by anything, but I did expect trucker arms, you know, a well tanned left hand casually dangling out the window of a vintage GMC, maybe even clutching a hand-rolled cigarette.

My left arm is more tanned than my right. Trucker tan. And I don't smoke but I think if I did... like in an alternate universe... it'd have to be hand rolled. And I'd roll 'em with one hand while driving.

Which would never happen because I can't even put in a CD while driving. And I hate smoke.

But definitely have a brown left arm.

Phyllis? PREZZIE????? I hope it's a book!!!
