REEEEEEEEALLY busy.

Gosh, seriously, it's hard work being a writer.  There's a lot of reading involved, and reading takes, like concent, concentray, concentration.

Especially if your glasses are in a different room.

Right now I'm sending out queries to agents.  I imagine them sitting in their offices, overwhelmed by the stacks of paper and unrelenting dings of email, wondering which hopeful beg-letter to look at first.

Meanwhile, I am contemplating the Upcoming New Story and wondering if I should work on it or keep working on the Misbehaving Teenagers Who Can't Get Out of My Head.

So as you can see, I'm reeeeeallllly busy!

(Good thing I need to ride a couple of horses each week to give me an excuse to get out of my jammies and leave the house, eh?)

Jot down notes on "The Upcoming Big Story", scenes etc, and meanwhile play with the teenagers. You never know what's going to stitch itself together eventually...

Yes, do the notes for the new story and try to stick with the teenagers. BUT, if the notes overwhelm you with their incredible creativeness then GO FOR IT!

My short story is stuck in my head and I had to put aside my novel for now. Another couple of weeks and it will be written and out of my system.

Sending good vibes for the queries!
