Does it really count as sleeping if this kind of thing is what you're looking at inside your eyeballs?

My friend Johnny is still reeeeally busy, which means that it'll be awhile before our return to the regularly scheduled Johnny Fridays.  And yes, there will be more horse pictures next week.  I promise.

Today, I've got something a little different for you.  Finally, somebody has come close to making a visual recording of what my nightmares - at their best - look like.  Don't get me wrong... some of my nightmares are legitimately horrible.  Some are very cool.  Some are just bizarre visions that wake me up with a lingering feeling of confusion.  Beautiful-scary.  Decaying-elegant. Crow feathers and freaks and distorted dark hallways.  And if I'm lucky, some seriously gorgeous men.

I found this video soon after a conversation with Jethro.  I was splaining how I thought the cello is the instrument that most resembles a woman's body and how freakin' awesome I think it is that the cellist really has to wrap his arms around that instrument.  Combine that with the kind of visual atmosphere that often provides a backdrop while I sleep and we get...

By the way, I'm having a physical reaction to a 12 hour fast followed by having five tubes of blood taken out of my arms, resulting in severe lightheadedness, failure to ingest the prescribed amount of Side-effexor, and further resulting in shooting pains in my skin every time I move, so... you've been warned!  Hope you have a nice weekend now... mwa ha ha ha ha...

That was a cool song. An odd vid. I have nightmares and weird dreams, too. The latest series has a former friend who was kind of a pain in the neck. I wonder what in the world he's doing there. I don't dislike the man really, but he was exhausting to be around. Good thing I'm asleep when I encounter him then, eh?

Happy weekend to you, too!

Glad you are feeling better, sweetie. The cello... just a fiddle on steroids, huh?
