Note: Well this is later than usual. Very busy day. I took my my ONTARIO EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION LEVEL 3 RIDER TEST. I passed. Not with flying colours. I almost messed it up big time, and it wasn't easy riding in puffy winter clothes in six inches of snow. But I passed.
Now, onto the pictures.
This whole topic cannot be discussed with bringing up Kid Rock. Love him or hate him. He is so gloriously trashy and unapologetically...sleazy. Un sophisticated.
Like, here I am going on and on and on about how much I love coveralls and overalls and...
Now what am I suppposed to say?
I know what you're thinking. Heidi, why is he not featured in your Hick Chic Hall of Shame? Well, he transcends Shame. He has no shame.
He has no shirts either.
Okay enough of that. Here's Ashton Kutcher in overalls.
Did you know that Ashton was a farm boy? It's true. He doesn't just look like one. Here he is in a plaid shirt and a John Deere hat! Did I go to high school with him too?
Speaking of plaid shirts, here is Viggo Mortensen.
That's not enough Viggo for me. This is one of my favourite pictures of him. I love everything about this picture. I think he should dress like that all the time. And keep a horse at my farm.
Remember when Johnny was all young and cute? And wore plaid shirts?
Oh wait.
He still looks good in plaid.
I like to think that he and and Vanessa spend their days out in the country in France, checking on their garden whle the kids frolic in the long grass, all wearing plaid shirts and overalls. Isn't that fun?

Sorry, that was me...I couldn't contain myself when I saw Johnny and Viggo on the same post...I thought we were doing another crush list or something. My fave pictures of Viggo and Johnny(and the long list of my crushes) is here...http://barefoot.provocateuse.com I guess I have some "thing" about feet.
Y'know, that first picture of Viggo looks a heck of a lot like Alan Alda in his younger days, like when MASH was not a re-run. Weird.
Okay, Dilling, that website is a bit odd. Most people had 1-3 photos listed. But Viggo has 22?! Egad.
Unfortunately, they didn't have Errol Flynn. (sigh.) Nice Barishikov pics, though.
Alan Alda? I don't see that at all.
Barefoot Viggo! I know!!! I guess Viggo loves to let his toes be free.
I love this.
Kid Rock mentally scars me.
Ok.. so you're not going to hear my opinion of Kid Rock...
Viggo is awesome...
Did you see the "who's your movie star boyfriend?" quiz on my blog? I took the test and ended up with Johnny... lol
guess they couldn't find any more unconventional guys in Hollywood...lol (I was actually hoping for Sam Elliot)
Back when Kid Rock and Pam Anderson were together we would occasionally see them around here, getting off the sea plane or whatever..both of the kitted out like they were still in LA, Kid with the hat, Pam in faux fur and boots...on their way to visit her parents in teeny tiny small town Ladysmith. I'm pretty sure he usually had a shirt on, though.
waiiiiiiiiiiiiiit a second here....
WHY IS KID ROCK CARRYING A PURSE?????????
hahaha Emily, I had to go back and look!!!
Rain, honestly, I would have loved to see that!
Anita, I have an odd fascination repulsion for that guy. As for your quiz, I think Sam Elliot would have been your style! But hey, we'll take Johnny. No problem. Now I must go take that test.
Bucky the nerd...go do your homework!!!
Hee hee hee! It's Johnny!
Mine was Brad Pitt.......
ew...and double ew. Honestly, that quiz sucked. I can't stand the guy.
Congratulations on passing your test. Barely passing is just as good as acing it. You passed!
Yah, the Kid Rock attraction is lost on me...he really should wear a shirt and doesn't pull off the over-alls very well. Ashton, he looks good in just about anything *sigh* as does Johnny!
Dilling,
it's the first pic Heidi posted here of Viggo, not one of the barefoot ones, the one where he's staring straight at the camera. His hair's the wrong color, but the sweep of it across his forehead -- and his eyes.... all this makes him look a ton like Alda of yesteryear..
Now, Heidi,
this is totally off subject, but yesterday, as I was leafing through one of the numerous pre-Christmas catalogs that have arrived in my mailbox this week, I saw a set of dishtowels in a cowgirl theme. One of them had a girl rodeo rider (yeah, I know: women usually don't ride the broncos -- but it was a dishtowel....) with the caption: May the horse be with you.
I thought of you. And smiled.
Honestly, I'm actually with you on the Kid Rock thing... I seem to have a dangerous attraction to arrogance... Maybe it's still the hair thing, I don't know.. lol
Congrats on the pass, Heidi.
Kid Rock has that bad-dirty-boy thing going. I guess it turns on some women.
Viggo? No thanks. Just can't see what people see in him. That's ok though, cuz you have seen some of the guys that I have crushed on (and still am). Can't explain them, either.
Great post though. Kid Rock makes me itch. I think that we should take up a collection to buy him some shirts.
Johnny is too skinny for me, but I will forgive him that. I could forgive him anything..You and Kayla have turned me into a fan.
Sigh...
Oh, crap. I forgot!
YAY! You passed!
Whoo Hoo!
This calls for a celebration!
I took the celebrity boyfriend quiz and ended up with Nick Carter...I think I took the Who's Your Celebrity Son? quiz by accident...
I love it how everybody's got a different opinion!!
It occurred to me that I didn't put any women in this post. Hmm.
You know Viggo Mortensen is Argentine, do you? He's almost as handsome as I am. Must be a condition...
Speaking seriously, it's so odd to watch Viggo speaking in perfect Argentine, drinking mate and going to the San Lorenzo soccer games whenever he's in B.A... I only know him from the movies, and they were all in English!
Great blog, I read it regularly, but I don't think I have posted a comment before...
Gabriel, I knew he had some connection to South America. Hmm...Argentina, birthplace of all handsome men???
Good to see you here!
First of all I would like to say excellent blog!
I had a quick question in which I'd like to ask if you don't mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear
your head prior to writing. I've had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Thank you!
