Here's the thing- I really shouldn't have been lungeing one horse while the other was running around getting in the way. That's very unperfeshnul. But...I knew the young mare would follow the old one. Work two horses at once eh? ha!
As it turns out, the Girl and the Little Lady went off and had a little photo session. It appears that they both enjoyed it very much!
Captain Corky, yes, those pictures were actually taken in heaven! A lot of people don't know that heaven smells like grass and horse poop!

Cadbury, it's only just green now here. Those pictures were taken last August. I finally feel like it won't be winter forever...
Terry, I love those too. My Girl said she tried to take a couple of nice close ups but the little Mare is so friendly...the close up turned into a nostril shot!

I will tell her! She definitely has an eye for composition. Our little camera makes it easy to take pictures but the art of it is all her!
I love a spotted horse too...I was so tickled by the shots of that little pink speckled and freckled muzzle.

it's so green there
it's still winterkill brown here
but, we've actually had rain instead of snow and the top 5 inches of ground is no longer frozen
and the ice is off the lake
