I'm leaning towards leaving my unibrow intact, just to be stubborn. Kind of like how I refuse to switch to beta blogger until they won't let me blog unless I switch. Until then, I'll be in the front yard in my barn boots, waving my arms around and hollerin "You can't make do it! You can't make meeeee!!!" But sometimes I think I should get my forehead under control. Sometimes...

It's not quite a unibrow yet, but you are well on your way. Sometimes I have to kinda smooth mine..you know, so they all go the same direction. I dunno. I'm not good at decisions right now..
yeah, I smooth mine too.
Do you think they're still growing?
Yours are prettier than mine.
(are they real? haw haw haw!)
How about that damn Blogger? It asks me to switch, damn near insists on it, then tells me I can't.
Why the hell not? My blog is so vanilla. Shouldn't be too hard.
ok -- two words.....HOT WAX!
ok -- two words.....HOT WAX!
Well, I think that is a decision for YOU to make! :-D
I try to keep mine under control. But, I get mine threaded. It's wild. The woman winds a piece of thread around her fingers and uses it to pull certain hairs out. It hurts, but it is VERY effective!
Sure, what the hell. Give yourself a total makeover and see what careers in Hollywood you can get!
I think you're sexy just the way you are.
Bug--- see? Yeah! That's why I ain't changing! That and sheer stubbornness. And laziness.
tim- Actually that's four words...but I think you just said HOT WAX because you like the sound of those words!!
cindy, your eyebrows are beautiful. But you see, not onlly am I stubborn and lazy but I'm also more afraid of pain than ever. I'd rather get thrown off a horse than have some person pull my eyebrow hairs out. Yeesh.
Jas, Hollywood can't handle me. That's what I say. And I think I'm going to adopt your last comment there.
i dont do pain, have had them waxed, have plucked have had them threaded but sod it just leave them be now, well sometimes when feeling brave might just get rid of a few!
At least you don't have to deal with the ones growing out of your nose like us blokes!
Yes.. and No:
You pluck a chicken.
You TWEEZE your eyebrows.. as maintenance.. after you have them PROFESSIONALLY waxed.
OK. On this, I have firm ideas.
I feel strongly about waxing my brows. For something so relatively inexpensive, it does wonders for a woman. Mainly, it dramatically opens up a woman's beautiful eyes without make up.
Waxing/shaping my brows is an easy, nice thing I do for myself.
Indoors- yeah, sod it! Maybe sort of!
Tod- nose hairs. So funny yet so scary...
Angel and Smartypants- I was just about ready to say screw it, I'm leaving them alone, but then I read what you both said. Hmm.
I don't know girls. I just don't know. I've been through a lot the last couple of years and I may have had all the self improvement I can handle for a while.
Unless I get really sick of looking at myself.
I say let your natural beauty shine through :)
If you decide to wax them, have it professionally done. It's relatively inexpensive and the results can be dramatic in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing.
Now. When you're up for it, we can talk about waxing and trimming, ahem, other things. But, you know, baby steps, Heidi, baby steps.
::grin::
I tweeze, but mine still look damn natural, and I don't think it's just a girl thing...I know a few men I'd like to get my tweezers on! Well, their eyebrow(s), anyway...
Naah. Just dye 'em pink.
yeharr
never!!! don't do it!!
i love them!
if i have to come up there and wrestle those tweezers away from you, i will.
see that profile pic of me, i guess it doesn't show well but i to have hulking hairy eyebrows. i just comb them back with my tooth brush. and if i feel extra wild, i back comb them.
ya. so maybe I do.
Okay, so dyed pink and back combed. Timmy will have to save the hot wax for a different special occasion.
I have hair on my ears I need to take care of.
I have those same glasses.
You rock in many ways.
In case anybody cares, I did used to yank my unibrow out when I was about 15, which clearly did no permanent good...and the glasses are too big for my face and always sit crooked.
I also have two moles on my face which sprout whiskers. Every week I get out the tweezers and cringe.
I can't believe I'm fessing up to this. How do ya like me now????
more than ever!!!
Agreed....you are just "one of us guys" Heidi!
Get them waxed professionally and then follow up after yourself. I use to work as an esthetician so I wanted to immmediately do them myself! They have a nice shape to them just need a little clean up.
