complaining about the weather...

It's been a cool and cloudy summer, which has my son totally crabby. I keep saying I'm okay with it; can you imagine cleaning all that dusty old straw out of the barn in extreme heat and humidity? That cool breeze was welcome to me.

Bucky hates it that he's still sleeping with a comforter on his bed at the end of July. I'm telling myself that at least I'm not boiling in my bed at night. And my electricity bill won't be very big at all this summer.

But here's the problem... instead of genuinely hot days, we're now getting cloudy and humid days. It's the worst! If the sun does come out, we swelter. Otherwise, it's a cool but damp breeze. The air feels heavy!

But you know... I'm Canadian. It's almost obligatory to complain about the weather. It's what we do.

Never mind, I'm going to visit a friend today, and I'll make the best of it!

Hey you can't complain after the shitty, shit, shit winter we had here in Ontario.

I have to agree. Im moving back to alberta from ontario, and I will be so happy to get as far away from a humidex as possible!

I hear you, sister.

Ha! All three comments from my fellow Ontarians!

It's the humidity. And it's brutal this year. It's just not like that out west and it makes such a difference!

It was like that in New England and it's like that here in Germany. Yesterday was sweltering and today we need jackets. Sunshine is overrated though, right?

Tell Bucky I am jealous of his cool summer.
