Here's me in my formal wear. I'm a little blurry... the audience looked a little blurry too. Luckily there were only about twenty people there, including a good neighbour-friend and my husband!
Here's me in my normal skewed state. I feel normal when I'm slightly crooked. I think I was at the part about the dudes with the truck and the keys and stuff.
I read my piece and I survived. Even though I thought it was gonna kill me, I hope this is only the first of many...
And now today I'm back to the studio for primering. The end's almost in sight.

You are just so dang cute girl! Yay for you-- you did it!
Next stop Barnes and Noble!
I'm glad it went well-in print, and a reading too, AND you survived (and still looked pretty while at it)- congrats!
You are just so damn cute, but aside from that, I really wish I had been there to hear you read your story.
I would have jumped up clapping, whistling and yelling BRAVO, BRAVO, AUTHOR, AUTHOR! At least until security drug me outside.
REally, pretty... as much as I'm not good at taking compliments... thank you.
I actually would have liked to read to you all. I would have been just as stressed but it feels much better thinking that the audience is there for a reason!
ps no security at this event. Just Jethro is his construction clothes!
Love, love, love the sweater.
And name in print? I'm envious!
toooo cool!
yippeeeee!
Wow, that is so amazing! I bet you had a fab time. I could never stand up and do a reading so I really admire you.
