It's a special, one time only, JETHRO FRIDAY!

Since Jethro asked me last week if I ever worry that perhaps Johnny Depp HIMSELF ever stumbles across my blog and gets, like, all skeeved out that I keep finding lovely pictures of him to post on my blog, which of course made me protest that I only say the very nicest thing about my less-evil-half-brother-separated-at-birth, and that's not creepy at all, right, I've been thinking about the alternative.

That would be to give Johnny a rest and leave it up to Jethro.

haha!  No, not that Jethro.  MY Jethro!

You know, The Big Dog.

I mean, the old No Faces Rule got thrown out once the Big Man won himself an award.

I'm still his biggest fan.

He's multi- talented. When he's not busy winning Juno awards and getting nominated and having people call him, like, begging for interviews and magazine articles, which of course he humbly and modestly accepts (I'm not kidding - for a guy who claims to arrogant he's pretty humble) he can be found building things and fixing things.  You should see the man fling a hay bale.

Be still my heart!!  How cute is he in his coveralls, with his ponytail?

One day in high school, when I may or may not have been zooming on a sugar high, he was sitting in the corridor against the wall.  I kneeled down to talk to him.  I forgot what I was saying.  "Are you wearing mascara?" I asked, being the spaz that I was.  He just laughed at me.  No, he was not wearing mascara.  He looks like that for real.  His eyelashes have got to be about an inch long.  Killer.

I thought he was the rockinest rock rock of the rock back then.

Dude, he STILL ROCKS!  He rocks the house.  He rocks the solar system.  He rocks the Volkswagen!  Okay, he listens to talk radio on the way home at 2 am because he's sick of music by then but otherwise he ROCKS HARD!!!!

Plus he still likes me after all the emotional outbursts and breakdowns and freakouts and horse shows and babies and imaginary friends and uncontrollable laughs that I've given him over the last twenty odd years.  I like him the best.

He's my favourite.

Y'all are just too sweet! I am totally jealous of his eyelashes. Mine can't be seen.at.all without mascara. And that clear mascara crap? That would never, ever in a million years work for my invisible lashes.

Oh, he's waaaay cuter than the other Jethro!
But I'm glad he ditched the Bay City Rollers hair-do for the long locks! Much better looking now than then!
You got good taste, woman.
I am jealous. But I live hundreds of miles away from you, so don't worry. (Besides, you're way cuter than I am, so I wouldn't stand a chance.)

Oh, how sweet!
I would never call Jethro arrogant. Never. Msybe his 16 year old self was a tad arrogant, maybe, but not this version of Jethro.
Love the photo from the concert. Oh, wait, maybe because I took it...Naw, it's just a wicked good photo.
