sorry, no time for a magnificent slice of Friday fun today! Instead, I'll be getting covered in horse dirt while my kids cut down some weedy trees at my coach's farm. I'm paying them too. It's only fair. I hope to ride today for the first time since the day my horse gave me the old Involuntary Rapid Dismount. My knee is feeling better and healing up slowly but steadily.
In the meantime, go next door and read about some good reads. There are even pictures. We live in a time when discussing books means coming up with a visual to go with it.
I've been reading about a book a week. I've got lots of comparing to do. My own Misbehaving Teenager Epic is nearing the end of the eighth edit. How can I keep finding stuff to fix????
Oh heck. It's Friday. Have a Johnny picture.

well, hello there, Johnny
always brightens up a day, doesn't he?
Because of the box of books that "Inside the Philosophy Factory" sent me, and the facgt that I have such an easy job and cool boss, I have been reading a lot, too, mainly at work... Patty send some absolutely fabulous books...
I like that pic of Johhny.
I like that one too. Like Dilling said- "Well helllo!"
amethyst has a box of books!! I have a Must Read shelf. It's nice knowing I won't run out of books to read.
Nothing like a jonny pic to start my Saturday off right with. ;)
Have a great weekend Heidi!
Johnny who?
Oh my goodness. I am really too old to be salivating over movie stars' photos. But.... wow.
When I lived in a dorm in Scotland while doing my MSc, my sister-in-law sent me a care package for Valentine's day. She knew I had complained that the paint in my room was very shabby and that I didn't have enough photos of my father's paintings and spiffy Beatles postcards to cover all the ugly spots, so she sent me a HUGE Jack Sparrow poster.
When I moved home, I gave away clothes and towels and all kinds of stuff that I didn't have room for (because I'd bought so many books while there) -- but the poster came home with me!
It's great how one minute, I'm reading that rush of words post about the concert, with the sounds and glitter and excitement and then the next minute, it's matter of fact, down to earth horse dirt and weedy trees. Ain't life grand!
Barb and her green wellies...
I STILL can't read. SIGH. I have a wicked new novel waiting here, though. maybe I'll just try and read a few pages at a time....
That is great photo of Johnny. Wait until you see Kayla's new Johnny action figure..Soooo life like. You will LOVE him.
Glad you knee is on the mend and while you are out riding some evening....I am still seeing you riding off into the sunset! :)
