Man that went fast.
This weekend I hope to get our backyard situation sorted out. I look out the back windows and think to myself, "That does not scream Future Successful Horse Farm Owner to me."
This is what we were doing last weekend, before we took off on our many travels. I want so much for this project to be over. Stupid crappy cheap shed. Next time I pour concrete it better be for a much bigger building if you know what I mean. With saddle racks. Geddit?
Also this weekend, once I'm done helping Jethro grunt the shed into it's new spot (I say we do it the way we took it out of its old spot: hook the truck up to it and YANK it!) I hope to get my SEMI ANNUAL HAIRCUT!(Like how I worked my Johnny photo in???)
I wish I could go back to Halifax and look up Billy and get it done by him again. I wonder if there are any nice funny cute gay male hairdressers around here? The last guy who cut and coloured my hair was a reasonably hunky guy who owned a pet snake and a big Morgan horse. I think I'll look him up while I'm at it.
Last night's riding lesson was a lunging lesson. It's a very valuable teaching and training tool. I don't enjoy it. Champ hated it. I only tried it with the Little Lady a few weeks ago. It was always easier to just get on the darn horse and ride. However I need to know it to pass my test.
Here's me lunging the Broodmare last month. It was pretty cool that the Little Lady followed. I could work two horses at once!
Must go. Taking The Girl to the mall. God help me. I must really love this kid!
Wait- one more Johnny!
Nice Zoot Suit, baby!
See ya on Monday.
