I'm not a huge, huge fan of quarterhorses but he's really lovely.

I don't ride western unless forced to and I always think of western when I see QH's.

I'm more of a warmblood girl. Jumping. Dressage.

Kari, he is beautiful. His kids are gorgeous too.

Smartypants!!!! I know what you mean, the QH is the western horse. I used to go watch Quarterama in Toronto for a couple of years and cringed at the English classes. The horses still travelled like western pleasure horses. I know very little about English riding (Only when forced to, haha!) but it just didn't look right.

And I'm looking for the perfect warmblood stallion next month, just for you m'love!

JJ, sadly, I don't think girls like us can afford guys like him...but we can dream!
(Hey girl, what happened to your blog??)

Pretty horsey. Can I ride him?

I'm glad you've found a way to walk away from your anxieties. I'm so happy for you.

Keep living the good life!

JQP= thanks, although I'm not actually a racing fan. I think the horses are magnificent but I've seen too many people buy loser horses off the track who are all GO and no STOP. Fried brains and blown out legs. Oh well. Can't all do it right like me, I guess, haha.

Pirate- Sadly, I don't think he's available to us for lessons!
Thanks for you encouraging words.

gorgeous! He'd look real pretty in my horse pasture with all the green green grass I have growing....but my old horse would just get jealous.

Nice horse! If it wasn't for all the poop that needs scooping, I would love to have one!

I think your horses are cooler however...This guy looks a little snooty!

barngoddess- I know exactly what you mean. My old horse, who in his mind is a stud, can't be pastured with a mixed herd. If we herd him with other males, he fights them. He's only happy with a harem. He's a jealous guy!

Yankee- A lot of people think you just stick 'em in a field and ignore them but they are a lot of work.
Thanks for the compliment! This guy probably can't help being snooty...i looked at the pics of his home. geez. Everything is manicured. My horse really is cool, come to think of it. And he knows it!!
