One of the fascinating things about this show, for me, is the prepping of the contestants for possible celebrity. They probably go through media training like how to answer questions, how to stand to have a photo taken, all kinds of things the rest of us wouldn't think should be on a singer's job list. All we see is a transformation from audition to winner. Better make up or more flattering clothes. Not always though...sometimes the stylists get it way wrong. And um, yeah. Sometimes the lighting techs get it wrong too.
It'd be nice if appearance wasn't essential to a singer's success but this ain't the 70s.
Anyways I think James is cute too. He's really making the eyebrow twitch work for him. He's very likable and THAT is undeniably important!!

Yep he's pretty stunning. Yow. I haven't been watching faithfully but I sneak a peek when I can. He's one of my favourite singers
