i am not sure i would have the heart to catch them...but i am soft...mostly, i would want to graze on all fours with them... is that odd> can you call dr. c for me?
haha, no that's not odd! Geez when I was a kid I think I ate as much grass as the ponies did!
And it's okay... they got their crazy running out of their systems before I haltered them up and made them behave. They got lots of pats and forehead rubs to make it nicer!
Yes, being in the middle of a wide open field with those horses thundering past is so very good for the spirit. You have to admire them. Sometimes my brain just slows right down and the whole world is flying tails and nostrils and hooves.
(White horses? TV show? Movie? Would I like it???)
Yeah, but we didn't ride like that! We walked and trotted and did some elaborate turns and backing up and really boring stuff that is much harder than it looks.
What fabulous photos! Makes me wish I could actually ride a horse - just once, to say I'd done it.. lol Been around them all my life, never had the offer to ride... :(
I didn't take them, I have to confess! My 14 year old daughter did, with her own camera! I'll make sure I tell her that her pictures went over so well. I think she's pretty happening.
I got the theme from, White Horses" running through me head now. Don't know if you ever got that in Canada.
ReplyDeleteI just love spotted ponies.
ReplyDeleteFREEDOM!
ReplyDeleteThey look like they are almost flying. There is something so graceful and free about these pictures, along with that gorgeous green grass! Beautiful!
That kind of thing just has to be good for your spirit, eh?

ReplyDeletepersonally I'd be quite happy to watch it gallivant around the field all day. Doubt I could con one to let me sit on it ;-)
